Summary
Directs LBGs business with clients within the Corporate Institutional Coverage portfolio to build stronger, deeper and more sustainable partner relationships. Improve and increase the quality and quantity of the business to achieve business objectives for income generation whilst ensuring the effective management of risk. This senior leadership role is critical in harnessing these complex, high profile and potentially profitable relationships to best meet client needs and to develop the LBG franchise across Coverage, Product and Delivery areas.

About this opportunity
We're currently seeking a Director, Asset Management to join our Institutional Coverage team in London.
You'll build strong and more sustainable partner relationships and increase the quality and quantity of the business to achieve business objectives for income generation whilst ensuring the effective management of risk.
This senior leadership role is critical in harnessing these complex, high profile relationships to best meet client needs and to develop the LBG franchise across Coverage.
Your accountabilities will include:Develop and lead strategic C-suite relationships, anticipating client needs and working with product partners to [develop] tailored solutions. Proactively identify and acquire new business with a focus on improving revenue growth through central initiatives and cross-selling opportunities, particularly across financial markets and lending. Ensure strong, proactive management of the client portfolio, maintaining close ties with key internal partners and complying with all regulatory and group policy requirements.

This role is considered Certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime as either requiring mandatory qualifications or being deemed as a role capable of providing 'significant harm' to customers. Due to this, successful candidates will be subject to enhanced levels of vetting, and required to complete a fitness and propriety attestation on commencement in role. Colleagues performing this role will be required to be complete a fitness and propriety attestation on an annual basis and will also be subject to additional routine criminal and credit checks

This role has been identified as a Client-dealing function under SYSC 27.8.18R as defined in the FCA Handbook

If you manage certified colleagues this role will be identified as Manager of certification employees under SYSC 27.8.13R as defined in the FCA Handbook(1) The function of managing or supervising a certification employee, directly or indirectly, is an FCA-specified significant-harm function.(2) A function in (1) is not an FCA certification function for that firm if it is performed by an SMF manager of that firm.
