As a part of the Enterprise Digital Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for developing world class digital products, capabilities and marketing programs that support our global markets and help drive performance marketing growth.



In the role of Director: Digital Publisher Partnership Solutions, you will be a part of the Enterprise Performance Channel Solutions team, responsible for delivering the Enterprise level strategy with major digital publishers, ongoing partnerships, and critical advertising technology. This team plays an integral part in delivering on revenue-driving business outcomes by ensuring American Express has access to best-in-class advertising solutions that future-proof our business.



A successful candidate will have track-record of setting and delivering strategies on behalf of stakeholders with diverse marketing needs, managing strong relationships with large-scale digital advertising partners, and a passion for leadership and team development. How will you make an impact in this role?




Lead a multi-functional team of advertising, product, and partner-management experts Develop a comprehensive advertising publisher partner strategy for the Enterprise which delivers to changing consumer behavior, changing business needs and the changing digital advertising industry, future-proofing the largest channels of marketing for Amex Responsible for managing day-to-day relationships with strategic large, global digital advertising publishers Act as the Enterprise expert and central point of contact for advertising platforms and ad tech Ownership of advertising contracts with select publishers on behalf of the Enterprise Partner across internal marketing and analytics teams to align on advertising priorities, and connect roadmaps into a central strategy Work alongside multiple media, advertising, and partner management teams to successfully deliver on advertising relationship priorities Translate complex advertising platform ecosystem into product roadmaps, gaining buy-in from marketing, legal, and compliance teams against Enterprise priorities Partner closely across the organization in prioritization, solutioning, and delivery of roadmap Regular self-assessments of the processes, risks, and controls related to the responsibilities of this team Lead budget management across marketing and advertising platforms/tools on behalf of the Performance Marketing Center of Excellence



Minimum Qualifications




Experience as a 'Technical Marketer' with an understanding of Marketing, Data and Tech used to power business goals Excellent partner management skills, with experience managing third party relationships, preferably with Google, Meta or Amazon, and experience in contract development Strong external perspective- ability to look externally at advertising landscape to understand and synthesize current and future trends, regulations, opportunities, and threats Ability to translate external perspectives into internal strategies Proven ability to develop a business-centric strategy and influencing skills required to deliver on a strategy Excellent communication and presentation skills: ability to translate technical concepts into laymen's terms, ability to adapt messages across teams and levels within an organization Understanding of ad tech product development and delivery process Experience managing marketing budget Experience leading a team of SME's
