We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and strategy. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial planning, accounting, and cost control. The ideal candidate will have hotel experience and demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities and possess a strong background in financial services. As the Director of Finance, you will play a crucial role in guiding our organisation towards achieving its financial goals while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organisation's objectives. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide insights into the organisation's performance. Manage accounts payable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments. Lead budgeting processes and monitor expenditures to maintain effective cost control. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards while maintaining robust internal controls. Collaborate with other departments to support operational efficiency and profitability. Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate financial risks.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the financial services sector. Strong knowledge of financial management principles, including financial planning, accounting, and cost control. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Proficient in financial software and tools; advanced Excel skills are essential. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly. A relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are advantageous.

Pay: 55,712.00-70,460.00 per year
