Our FX product capabilities extend across the full trading lifecycle to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions for our customers, including market data, benchmark rates, news, analytics tools, trade workflow, trade execution, STP, electronic price making and order management, clearing and post-trade portfolio optimization!

Over $450bio/day is executed on our FX venues and our Dealing network connects the interbank community for non-electronic trading. Our venues have extensive regulatory approvals supporting the multi-jurisdictional trading requirements of our most complex customers. These include SEF, EU MTF, UK MTF, and Singapore RMO, together with licenses for specific multiple local markets.

ROLE SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Head of Electronic Trading Technology, this is a senior leadership position in the Capital Markets technology team. The ideal candidate is encouraged to drive and implement FX technology strategy and delivery, explore and develop partnership opportunities, improve resilience and reliability and deliver strategic transform initiatives for the Capital Markets FX business.

This is a significant and ambitious leadership role that involves working across all functions supporting the FX business and Group Technology. To be successful, the selected individual will need to provide leadership across Infrastructure, Product Development, and project delivery dimensions.

The individual will be a key champion and influencer to set and represent FX Technology direction within wider LSEG, working and collaborating across the Capital Markets, Data & Analytics and Post Trade divisions.

WHAT YOU\'LL BE DOING:

Build and maintain an end-to-end technology roadmap and strategy for the Capital Markets FX Meaningful business services, ensure technology roadmap is alignment with the business roadmap and strategy.

Function as key FX technology representative to the Capital Markets business and ensure that FX technology product management and delivery is aligned with business objectives and customer needs.

Work closely with cross functional engineering teams to build innovative, highly functional & resilient FX technology products.

Work with the business on new partnerships that can accelerate success and drive growth and retention across various solutions.

Collaborate and work closely with other group technology functions to ensure that business and technical needs are addressed.

Lead critical path work, schedule items, and escalate to leadership on potential risks and delays.

Represent Capital Markets FX technology on regulatory boards, risk committees and operational governance forums.

WHAT YOU\'LL BRING:

Demonstrated ability in FX Electronic Trading Technology with proven track record of delivery

Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience; advanced technical or business degree preferred.

Persuasive and influential, possessing well-developed communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.

Able to communicate complex issues to senior decision makers, focusing on relevant details and considerations.

Able to lead in a highly matrixed organisation. Able to work with, and accept feedback from, a wide variety of stakeholders.

Strong knowledge of modern software development tools, techniques, and practices.

Strong knowledge of agile development methodologies.

Strong understanding of the resiliency requirements for high throughput and low latency technology platforms.

Ability to analyse / review and work across various functions such as Sales, Business, Operations, Legal, Compliance and Regulation.

Comfortable presenting at all levels internally and externally in an organization.

Ability to work optimally in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and agile technology environment.

The successful candidate must have a proven track record in an equivalent role in complex organizations running critical services in the financial industry.
