Position Title: Global Security Operations Director



Location: Dallas, Ashburn, London, or Amsterdam



Your role



We are seeking a dynamic security operations leader to provide strategic and tactical security management support to our personnel, protective services, and command and control teams across a diverse global portfolio. The Director, Global Security Operations will focus on standardized security service delivery, travel risk and security, and alignment of security operations to business objectives. Ideal candidates will bring a strong background in security operations management, program development, as well as risk-based and data-driven decision-making.



What you'll do



Lead and manage a global security operations program supporting regional, market, and local security managers and their respective teams Define roles, responsibilities, and support models to align team execution with business priorities Develop and optimize Operations Center capabilities to support Security workstreams, incident and alarm management, and notification protocols for evolving Global Command Center Oversee and implement third-party security services such as security guarding, specialty security services, and other contracted protective services, including deployment, performance standardization, and ongoing contract assessment. Plan, execute, and optimize the Travel Risk and Security program, with internal stakeholder engagement, to include full-scope journey management, intelligence, and traveler support. Provide support for executive travel and special events, in particular risks assessments and event security preparation, planning, and execution. Ensure that local Operations Centers and Regional Control Centers develop and implement consistent operating procedures for security event monitoring and response. Support external-facing teams (Sales, Compliance, Customer Success) through alignment of deliverables, service offerings, and regulatory evidence requests Collaborate with asset managers and members of real estate development teams to address security concerns and develop mitigation measures. Support coordination between local and corporate BCM and Crisis teams, including the maintenance and testing of all BCM plans Establish data-driven metrics, KPIs, and SLAs to analyze security performance and optimize resource deployments Drive Security Operations support of audits, assessments, risk evaluations, and controls testing. Support regional and local security teams in standardizing procedures, training, response protocols, and communications Analyze security data and intelligence to identify trends, assess risks, and recommend proactive measures to enhance overall security posture. Ensure all services are documented with SOPs/Playbooks and KPIs, to report on performance and delivering continuous improvement.

What you'll need



Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as security management, criminal justice, business management or equivalent professional experience in a matrixed corporate environment


10+ years' relevant leadership experience in corporate security, GSOC environments, or physical security program management Industry certifications such as CPP, PSP, CSPM or similar Excellent working knowledge of Physical Protection Systems with particular emphasis on protective services, alarm management, incident response, and physical security controls Working knowledge of industry standards such as ISO, SOC, PCI, SOX, GDPR, and OSPAR Strong knowledge of protective intelligence, travel security, and risk management strategies Solid understanding of basic training principles, needs assessments, and development plans to promote individual and departmental growth Proven experience leading customer-impacting or sensitive incident responses, often making sound decisions quickly, operating well under pressure, and adapting to changing conditions Ability to lead, manage, and inspire diverse, globally distributed, cross-functional teams
