Role Overview



The

Business Development Director

will drive Oxford StemTech's commercial growth through strategic partnerships, client acquisition, and collaborative initiatives across the biotech and pharma sectors. This role combines scientific insight with commercial strategy, translating cutting-edge iPSC technologies into meaningful research and industry applications.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and execute a

comprehensive business development strategy

aligned with Oxford StemTech's scientific and commercial objectives. Identify, engage, and secure

new clients and strategic partners

across biotech, pharma, and academia. Manage and expand relationships with

existing clients and collaborators

, ensuring project success and long-term partnerships. Lead

digital marketing and outreach activities

to promote capabilities and achievements and develop

targeted campaigns

and digital content to attract new partners and increase brand visibility. Represent Oxford StemTech at

industry conferences, networking events, and scientific meetings

to enhance brand recognition. Collaborate with

R&D and operations teams

to align service offerings (cell-based assays, iPSC reprogramming and differentiation) with market needs. Lead

proposal preparation, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations

with clients and partners. Monitor

market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies

to identify new business opportunities. Contribute to

strategic planning, revenue forecasting, and funding proposals

in collaboration with the executive leadership team.

Qualifications and Experience



Degree in life sciences, business or related field. Minimum

8+ years of experience

in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial roles within the

biotech or life sciences sector

. Demonstrated understanding of

iPSC technology, cell-based assays, and preclinical drug discovery

. Proven success in

client acquisition, partnership development, and revenue growth

. Experience managing

digital marketing and social media engagement

, particularly life science-focused platforms. Exceptional

communication, networking, and negotiation skills

. Ability to thrive in a

fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and science-driven environment
