Are you a passionate and experienced delivery leader who thrives in a fun, fast-paced environment? Do you believe in working hard, striving for the best, and making a real difference? If so, we want to hear from you!

Animal Friends is on the hunt for a Director of Delivery to join our fantastic team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. We're not your average insurance company. We're a team of pet lovers dedicated to providing the best possible service to our customers and their furry family members.

Why you'll love working with us:

A collaborative and supportive team:

You'll lead and mentor a talented team of Scrum Masters, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Product Managers in an environment where everyone has a voice and collaboration is key.

Meaningful and exciting projects:

You will be at the heart of our IT delivery, leading everything from Agile initiatives to large-scale programmes that have a direct and positive impact on our customers and their pets.

The opportunity to make a real impact:

This is a senior leadership role where you will shape our delivery framework, champion the adoption of SAFe principles, and play a crucial part in our strategic planning.

A focus on work-life balance:

We believe in working hard and having fun, but we also know that life outside of work is important. We're committed to creating a healthy and balanced environment for all our team members.

What you'll be doing:

As our Director of Delivery, you'll be the driving force behind our IT projects. You'll blend Agile and traditional programme management to create a unified and effective delivery approach. You'll lead our quarterly PI planning, enhance our Product Ownership capabilities, and be the central point for all new project requests, ensuring we're always focused on what matters most.

Working closely with our Chief Innovation Officer, you'll help bring new and exciting ideas to life, all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within your team.

Who we're looking for:

We're seeking a natural leader with a proven track record in a hybrid delivery environment. You'll have a strong background in Agile frameworks (especially SAFe) and traditional programme management. Your ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional team is just as important as your technical expertise. You're a strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture and a brilliant communicator who can build strong relationships at all levels.

If you're ready to take on a new challenge and make a tangible impact in a company that truly values its people and its customers, we'd love to welcome you to the Animal Friends family.
