Responsibilities:

  • Define the technical vision, roadmap and design of products
  • Provide technical leadership for software engineering teams to ensure successful and timely delivery of products and feature roll-outs
  • Hire, coach and develop a diverse, world-class team of engineers at all levels
  • Lead teams to build scalable products, striving for an engineering culture that is inclusive and embraces different backgrounds and perspectives
  • Champion engineering excellence establishing success metrics, driving continuous operational improvement, measure and improve the quality, security, and performance of our products
  • Be a driver for change across your teams and the broader organization by creating a collaborative and agile engineering culture where everyone feels supported in a caring meritocracy
Skills / Qualifications:
You have:
  • 10+ years of engineering leadership experience in building software products, from concept to launch
  • 5+ years of managing high performing and diverse engineering teams
  • Experience working in a start-up like environments with constantly shifting requirements
  • Strong experience implementing end-to-end Agile methodology through the software development life cycle
  • Strong collaboration skills across crafts and are excited to work with a range of stakeholders from business, technology, and subject-matter experts
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risks for all the stages of software development life cycle

You are familiar with:
  • Cloud-native applications architecture and implementation
  • Kubernetes and container-based deployments
  • Front-end development with Typescript and React
  • Back-end development with Python and Go
  • Databases like PostgreSQL and Cassandra
  • Setting up and securing end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Implementing end-to-end observability and maintaining solutions reliability
