Job Description

Reporting into our Hear of Engineering you will be responsible to:

Lead and scale engineering teams, mentoring talent and promoting a culture of innovation and accountability. Technical Design and deliver cloud-native solutions using large-scale, asynchronous compute workloads and data orchestration. Drive engineering best practices including test-driven development, CI/CD, and automated regression testing. Ensure delivery of UK&I product and software solutions, collaborating across business units for cross-functional alignment. Act as an escalation point for delivery challenges, removing blockers and ensuring client satisfaction. Optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) through automation, simplification, and platform efficiency. Manage the Security Dashboard, ensuring vulnerabilities are addressed within acceptable risk thresholds. Use metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement, reduce technical debt, and enhance service quality. Contribute to UK&I revenue growth through cost-effective, high-quality engineering and agile delivery. Develop and implement rapid concept testing models and contribute to the long-term technology roadmap.

Experience and Skills

Extensive experience in software engineering, data science, or platform development. Proven leadership experience in building and mentoring engineering teams. Hands-on expertise in: +

AWS Cloud

+

Full-stack development

+

Containerization and orchestration

(Docker, Kubernetes)
+

CI/CD and DevOps practices

+

Cloud security best practices and FinOps

Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or LeSS).
