As a Director of Finance and Commercial, your main responsibilities will be:
Lead and support the Finance, Commercial, and Economics functions to deliver professional services, ensure legal and regulatory compliance, and support corporate objectives.
Champion inclusive leadership, fostering high performance and ensuring teams have the skills and capacity to meet departmental goals.
Serve as a key executive, including roles such as lead for Audit and Risk Assurance Committee, Main Board member, and Chair of internal governance committees.
Act as corporate guardian for budgets and efficiency targets, ensuring compliance with public finance standards and protecting the Accounting Officer.
Provide strategic financial guidance to the Chief Executive and Executive Team, enabling robust planning, spending reviews, and business partnering.
Drive financial governance and value, ensuring strong internal controls, timely reporting, commercial acumen, and evidence-based decision-making
