Are you a strategic leader with a passion for good governance, safety, and continuous improvement? Do you want to make a genuine difference in people's lives by helping to ensure safe, well-managed homes and services? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
At Abri, we're committed to delivering high-quality housing and services that truly support our customers and communities. As our new Director of Governance, Health & Safety, and Assurance, you'll oversee our compliance, health and safety, governance and risk and assurance functions, all while living our values and behaviours and providing exceptional leadership to high-performing teams.
In this role, you'll be tasked with ensuring regulatory compliance across the Group and overseeing Board and Governance effectiveness reviews, all while acting as the subject matter expert on a whole host of governance-related queries for senior leaders in the business. You'll also oversee occupational health and safety across the business, championing a culture that puts wellbeing and employee safety at the forefront. Additionally, you'll enhance our approach to risk management, assurance, and regulatory compliance, ensuring we remain a trusted, transparent, and high-performing organisation.
Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills will be essential as you'll not only represent Abri but be able to clearly articulate and explain complex information and statutory requirements to senior leaders across the Group.
We're looking for someone with senior-level experience in governance, health and safety, or assurance -- ideally within housing or a similarly regulated environment. You'll bring a strong understanding of relevant frameworks and a confident, collaborative approach to leadership. Most importantly, you'll share our values and commitment to delivering meaningful, positive outcomes for our customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation that values integrity, inclusion, and innovation. In return, we offer a supportive culture, a competitive salary and benefits package, and the chance to make a real, lasting impact.
We can be flexible about which of our offices you'll be based at but regular travel to all our office locations to connect and collaborate with colleagues will be an essential requirement.
