Are you a HR (Human Resources) professional who is CIPD qualified and looking for a new challenge within a large and diverse organisation? Can you develop effective relationships with key stakeholders?

Having recently been through a merger, where Wakefield, Castleford and Selby colleges have become the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group, we are now looking for someone to lead a newly established Group People Services Team through the next phase of development. You will be responsible for Group HR policy and operational processes which support the employee lifecycle, in addition to leading our employee relations, development, engagement and payroll functions.

The successful candidate will implement our People Strategy and lead key projects including group culture, integration of information systems and a new pay and reward framework.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience of leading an integrated multi-disciplinary HR/People Services team.
• Experience of using integrated HR systems to transform the effectiveness of a HR service.
• Experience of establishing and maintaining effective relationships across a large complex organisation.
• The ability to build capacity and motivate a team using coaching skills.
• CIPD Level 7 qualification.
