The Role...




We are looking for an experienced

Director of Sales

to join the team at

Harbour Hotel Richmond.




This role is integral to drive new business from the corporate & leisure sector and manage the existing accounts focusing on all market segments in order to continue to develop the business.


As Director of Sales, you will have a proven track record in functions and events proactive sales in a hotel environment, with a passion and drive to take the business forward. You will need to be an effective communicator with a warm and welcoming personality, have exceptional attention to detail, an immaculate presentation and a passion for exceeding guest expectations. We are looking for a strong individual to support the reactive sales team to achieve financial targets.

Key Responsibilities...



Account manage key accounts including Corporate, M&E, & Leisure Adapting the sales strategy through the analysis of information and data, maximizing opportunities whilst planning for and minimizing risk Secure new business for the hotel in line with the sales strategy Create a Sales & Marketing activity calendar and drive activities in line with the budget Negotiate and develop local partnership and sponsorship agreements to build long lasting profitable collaborations Manage existing Partnership accounts and track ROI To achieve the total hotel budget through creating a sales culture throughout the hotel resulting in the generating of high quality sales leads across the business and then converting this to revenue that meets the strategy or needs of the business Work closely with the Central Sales Team and on site Sales & Events Manager to maximize sales opportunities Represent the hotel at local networking and industry events Coordination of annual agent and client entertainment showcase events
