We're seeking a future team member for the role of Director, OPS General Management Manager to join our Payments Processing team. This role is located in Manchester, UK. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Architect and structure a high-performing, agile Payments & Liquidity Management organization-instilling an AI-first mindset and leveraging digital platforms to drive operational excellence and continuous innovation. Lead and inspire a network of diverse teams through subordinate managers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and career-building mentorship. Develop and execute forward-looking business and functional strategies-aligning liquidity forecasting and treasury best practices with BNY's broader goals. Partner with the Payment Enablement Platform, translating efficiency requirements into agile delivery roadmaps that optimize liquidity flows, enhance real-time liquidity visibility, and reduce operational risk. Oversee resource planning, project delivery, and budget management-balancing cash positions across regions and products to hit ambitious targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and control. Attract, develop, and retain top talent by cultivating a culture of continuous growth, engagement, and high performance-backed by targeted mentorship programs, leadership forums, and flexible work models. Drive the evolution and implementation of policies, procedures, and governance frameworks that enhance liquidity management, streamline payment inquiries, and elevate the overall client experience. Own full P&L, budget, and human-capital responsibilities-ensuring your teams consistently achieve and exceed objectives while championing diversity, equity, and inclusion in every decision. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: A seasoned payments and liquidity management leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on expertise in intraday liquidity forecasting and treasury integrations. A proven organizer of high-impact, cross-functional programs-comfortable setting enterprise-wide priorities and translating them into agile delivery sprints. An empowering leader and mentor-committed to fostering inclusive, psychologically safe environments. A collaborative influencer-adept at building strong partnerships across Technology, Operations, Risk, Commercial, and Treasury teams. A data-driven thinker-skilled at using AI and digital analytics to uncover efficiency gains and continuously raise the bar on service excellence.
