What you will do



Set the vision for organic strategy by showing how brands turn up and get discovered in Google, LLMs, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and other organic media. Leverage SEO, content, social search, and digital PR to deliver commercial and brand growth Turn insight into action: use data-led thinking to prioritise opportunities, and lead innovation around tools, tech and process Act as a trusted senior partner for major clients, guiding their organic growth agenda; be confident presenting to senior stakeholders and leading pitches for US & UK business Shape the organic narrative within integrated brand and performance campaigns - ensuring organic is not a silo but a core part of our unified offering Lead and grow a high-performing team of senior organic strategists, managers and specialists. Create clarity of purpose, empower autonomy and embed our value of "people first" Champion collaboration across disciplines (paid, data, creative) - organic strategy at Journey Further thrives when all parts move together Be the voice of organic at Journey Further: drive new thinking, speak at industry events, contribute to our knowledge base, push boundaries Partner with business development and leadership teams to find new opportunities, define compelling scopes, and help drive revenue and margin growth Monitor and evaluate performance and forecasts: you'll manage line responsibility for delivery, budget and results

Requirements



Leadership and management experience in organic media (SEO, content, digital PR) within an agency or brand context, with a demonstrable track record leading integrated organic strategies for major clients Proven leadership experience: managing senior teams, mentoring talent, embedding culture, delivering growth. Identify where to play and how to win: thinking more broadly than Google, you understand where and how audiences discover brands on all major organic platforms and how to activate there Confident communicator and influencer: presenting at senior levels, shaping client agendas, influencing across disciplines Commercially astute: you understand revenue, margin, forecasting, P&L implications Demonstrable drive to innovate: strong curiosity around tech, data, process improvement, emerging channels or formats Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment: fast-moving, high-expectation, always looking for what's next Experience in building or contributing to an agency proposition or thought leadership offering Exposure to international markets or global campaigns Recognised presence in the industry (speaking, writing, awards) or ambition to develop one

Salary




London - 68,000 - 75,000

Leeds - 62,000 - 68,000
