We're currently seeking a passionate, strategic, and forward-thinking Director, Social & Digital Innovation to build client relationships and help lead breakthrough campaigns across our dynamic portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide a high-performing team in crafting and executing culturally relevant, social-first campaigns from kick-off through launch. You'll help shape best-in-class strategy, push creative boundaries, and work closely with creative, account, and production partners to bring bold ideas to life.

One of the primary functions of this position is business development. Candidates chosen will have existing, current relationships in streaming, theatrical, and broadcast television, and selling social-forward campaigns to those clients. Candidates with current, hands-on experience pitching, closing, and leading social-forward creative for clients in theatrical/streaming entertainment will be the best fit for this role. This position requires social-forward marketing agency leadership experience, specifically within agencies that serve culturally-driven clients. Strong cross-functional leadership skills are essential -- this role will collaborate closely with global partners and internal divisions. Our teams are hybrid, working on-site at our London office 3 days per week.

WHAT YOU WILL DO




Bring, build, and nurture trusted relationships with clients in streaming, theatrical, and TV, acting as a strategic adviser and cultural partner for those clients. Lead and grow our UK social team with mentorship, grace, and inspiration -- cultivating a strong culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability. Champion a social-first mindset across teams and clients, integrating innovative thinking and execution into every touchpoint. Drive accounts forward with clear, results-driven strategies that align with client goals, while identifying opportunities to expand the business through broader TPG capabilities. Provide sharp, creative, and strategic input across social-forward and integrated campaigns, ensuring excellence from concept to execution. Synthesise and communicate client feedback clearly and constructively to internal teams and executive leadership. Collaborate cross-functionally with global counterparts and internal divisions to ensure alignment, innovation, and operational excellence across all engagements. Proactively identify untapped opportunities in entertainment and adjacent categories where social innovation can create business impact. Lead multiple, high-stakes client accounts with a steady hand, ensuring client satisfaction and seamless delivery. Bring a clear, confident point of view to client conversations and internal strategy discussions, grounded in both insight and intuition. Model professionalism, positivity, and problem-solving under pressure -- helping the team stay focused, inspired, and solution-oriented.

ABOUT YOU




10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong emphasis on social media strategy and execution. 3-5 years' agency experience in entertainment marketing, with a proven record of business development and campaign success in social-forward campaigns. Existing book of business in streaming, film and/or broadcast television with a demonstrated success managing and growing entertainment client accounts. You bring emotional intelligence, diplomacy, and professional maturity to client and team interactions. Strong eye for growth opportunities and the ability to scale existing client partnerships. Deep fluency in social platforms, cultural trends, paid media, and audience engagement. A team player who leads with empathy, humility, and a collaborative spirit. Calm and productive under pressure, keeping the focus on creating solutions and modelling steady behaviour to help the team's efforts stay focused on delivering exceptional campaigns. Ability to translate complex client challenges into clear, impactful strategies. Skilled at building trusted, long-term relationships with senior-level clients. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strategic, curious, and tuned in to pop culture, with the ability to spot trends early. Fast thinker who thrives in dynamic environments and adapts quickly. Strong writing, grammar, and editorial skills.
