Position Overview With seven active campuses and additional planned expansion Vantage is looking for a proven leader to grow and scale the supply chain and procurement division within the company, specific to owner furnished contractor installed equipment (OFCI). This includes four key pillars within the group consisting of strategic management of inventory, vendor management and long term negotiated pricing, architecting/management of process/ERP tools and direct support to internal construction teams in each region. The successful candidate will be able to grow and scale both business processes as well as the team. As Director, Supply Chain & Procurement, your responsibilities will include driving efficiencies in lead time reduction and price reductions through both volume-purchasing as well as innovation in negotiation approach and contract structure. You will be responsible for the entire procurement life cycle from contract through delivery, startup, and commissioning. As Vantage continues to expand you will peer with internal groups focused on cost and schedule reduction to integrate change management and product optimization into new and ongoing projects, while providing lessons learned into the overall feedback loop for analysis and modification. Essential Job Functions

• Oversee the management and administration of supply chain, inventory, strategic replenishment, and financial budgeting/forecasting of key equipment in line with customer/market demand
• Architect and administrate an ERP system that ties to internal accounting and cost tools
• Provide thought leadership in strategic supply chain management including negotiation with vendors to optimize upfront costs, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and reducing contract risk
• Lead the procurement, sourcing, schedule, and lead times of OFCI for development projects including generators, switchgear, UPS, PDU, CRAH, chillers and other data center equipment and systems
• Partner with engineering and preconstruction to yield industry leading costs for equipment
• Develop KPIs to measure department performance as well as vendor performance (on-site delivery performance, cost savings, etc.)

• Develop and drive processes for inventory management and replenishment of OFCI in line with standardized building blocks. On an as needed basis, manage procurement of bespoke equipment partnering heavily with construction teams and project schedules
• Develop a logistics and supply chain strategy for primary vendors including qualifying 2-3 vendors per type of equipment
• Leverage engineering to identify ways to create global standards where only minimal accessories are modified based on local requirements; break down supply chain to understand components within the package from each vendor to drive standards for ALL major components
• Implement best practices in procurement and supplier management to support commercial and operational objectives
• Manage procurement entity leveraging the Construction Cost & Finance (CCF) department to ensure all purchases have appropriate cost allocation, tax, freight, etc.
• Negotiate competitive multi-year agreements with primary and secondary vendors as applicable
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and operational requirements
• Partner with (CCF) to create policies and procedures for risk management & mitigation
• Examine and test new and existing contract structures (master supplier agreements)
• Establish yearly inventory budgets, OFCI project budgets, provide monthly cash flow forecasts, review, and approve invoices
• Manage team to drive entire equipment submittals process in line with engineering standards and project schedule deadlines
• Manage team to understand RFIs and RFQs for the sourcing of all OFCI equipment as needed
• Manage procurement bid process from RFP issuance, to bid leveling and ultimately vendor selection
• Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with all colleagues, internal and external contractors, and clients
• Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities
• Leading vendor negotiations, conflict resolution and driving continuous improvement from the supplier base
• Managing multiple 3rd party vendors who provide critical services for the company and clients and to ensure quality and delivery targets are met
• Update and recommend improvements to procurement strategies based on changing market conditions

• Bachelor of Science degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or equivalent required
• 10+ years of experience as a procurement leader or officer required, 10 to 15 years preferred
• Data Center or industrial equipment experience is strongly preferred
• Aptitude with collecting data, statistical analysis, decision-making and business acumen
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
• Strong buying and negotiating expertise
• Excellent planning and organization skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to lead and engage people in a fast-changing environment to achieve results through others
• Assertive and confident and able to quickly build a high level of personal and professional credibility within the business and customer base, demonstrating strong commercial and financial acumen
