We are currently seeking experienced nurses to join our Assessments Division as Disability Assessors. In this role, you\'ll utilise your clinical expertise in a new way, assisting individuals in their journey towards a better quality of life.

Role Overview:
As a Disability Assessor, you will conduct assessments through telephone, video, or face-to-face interactions to gain insights into how a person\'s health condition or disability affects their daily life. Your empathetic listening, thoughtful questioning, and clinical insights will contribute to creating factual reports used by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to determine benefit eligibility. This role carries significant responsibility as it directly impacts the lives of our clients. Your clinical knowledge will be instrumental in making a positive difference.

Every assessment is unique, involving diverse cases such as veterans, individuals with neurological conditions, industrial injuries, and respiratory diseases. This role will challenge you, but we will provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure your success.

What Requirements Are There?

  • Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of post-registration experience
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working in both individual and team-oriented settings
  • Familiarity with various medical conditions, including mental health
