Job Description

1- 2 Support Workers are required for 20-36 daytime hours per week, to support a disabled gentleman with epilepsy who requires 24/7 care. The hours will be predominantly day shifts with occasional night time support over 7 days per week.

This could be a full time position for one worker or 20 hour position for 2 workers

The Gentleman lives in Bedale and needs support and assistance accessing community activities such as outdoor activities, concerts, theatre etc. Duties further include personal/health care needs, domestic assistance and encouragement to take part in activities within the community. The gentleman also goes on a one-week holiday twice a year, which he requires 24/7 care. Therefore, it is essential that the successful applicants will provide support with this.

The applicants

must be a driver

(over the age of 25 due to motor insurance requirements) have a full clean driving licence and experience with Epilepsy is essential for this position.

The rate of pay is 14.70 per hour.
