Minibus Driver

Wage 12.54 per hour Monday-Friday

Part time 4 hours per week and bank availability As & When required to cover Holidays, Sickness and Basic Maintenance duties. Hours of work are to be discussed in full at interview

The aim of the position is to join with our existing driver to provide extra cover working with the Young People Groups supporting the Young People and driving for the Blind Club and Clients on outings.

BVDF is a Homecare charity working within our local area of Blyth offering care and support to clients in their own homes. The Charity facilitates a Young Peoples Projects, offering Activities and Social groups for people in our area with a physical and or learning disability. We offer a swimming session on Monday evenings and a Social club on a Thursday evening where people can use Computers, participate in Arts and Crafts, play Games/Pool and socialise in a safe environment.

We offer weekly transport service in our Disabled Mini Bus to the local Blind club to and from their club house and outings in Northumberland to local attractions and venues for our clients.

Ideal candidates should be

Experienced Driver with a clean driving licence.

Driving Licence should list on the rear D1 to enable driving of the Disabled Mini Bus.

Flexible availability to meet the As and When bank cover required at times.

Midas Mini Bus Training desirable but not essential as would be provided during Induction
