An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading regional law firm with a growing and highly regarded
Discrimination Law Department
. This role offers the chance to work on impactful, high-quality litigation with support, autonomy, and development opportunities.
We are seeking a
Litigator or Solicitor with around 2-4 years PQE
(flexible) who has strong
civil litigation experience
and
CPR knowledge
. Prior discrimination law experience is welcome but
not essential
-- full training and guidance will be provided.
You will manage a
caseload of 50-80 discrimination matters
(with a focus on disability and race) in the
County Court
, from initial instruction through to settlement or trial.
Key Responsibilities
Manage your own caseload of discrimination cases from inception to resolution
Draft pleadings, prepare witness statements, court bundles, and legal arguments
Liaise with clients, the courts, and other parties clearly and professionally
Engage in team growth, training, and knowledge-sharing
Participate in marketing events, seminars, and development initiatives
Use case management systems effectively and ensure full compliance throughout
Candidate Profile
We welcome applications from:
Qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives (~2-4 PQE or equivalent experience)
Experienced litigators from civil litigation, personal injury, or similar backgrounds
Those with strong knowledge of the
Civil Procedure Rules
Detail-oriented individuals with excellent drafting and client care skills
Team players with a desire to build expertise in Discrimination Law
