We are a modern style Cafe situated within St Leonards. We are best known for our professional and friendly customer service and for our lovely & interesting Brunch and Lunch dishes. We are now currently looking for a friendly, upbeat and hard working

Dishwasher/Cafe

Assistant,

to join our small busy cafe team. The ideal person will have a willingness to learn, be adaptable & enjoy at times, working in a fast paced environment and enjoy the buzz of the hospitality business.

The hours will be 20 /25 hours (and a little more over the summer season) , over 5 days per week and

involves working weekends.

A brief overview of duties

Wash and sanitise dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping etc Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, contributing to a smooth workflow within the kitchen. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Delivery of food and drinks. Assist, when necessary, Front of House.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant environment would be advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with food preparation would also be advantageous. Experience in hospitality or serving roles would be beneficial for understanding and delivering our customer service expectations.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
