Rugby based - remote location - transport required
Temporary to Permanent
Monday to Friday 45 hours per week - days
Immediate Start
Our large distribution client in Rugby is seeking a proactive, reliable, capable individual who is looking for a career in logistics. If you are keen to learn and are looking for real progression then this could be the perfect role for you!
This role would start out as a Despatch Clerk -

Dealing with drivers and their paperwork
Utilising customer systems to update despatch and delivery information where required
Liaise with drivers on the day of delivery
Keeping the customer up to date
General admin and data entry

The role will then progress onto a Planner role:

To provide a plan that deploys the allocated resource pool in the most effective way
Completing depot logs
Check resource availability for shift
Confirm Driver Start times
Managing Driver hours

Person Spec:

Must be reliable
Previous customer service experience within an office
Excellent IT skills - the ability to pick up systems easily
A confident communicator
A proactive, flexible outlook
Must be able to work well under pressure
