Qualified Dispenser

16 hours (negotiable) - some flexibility with working hours

Salary will be negotiable and dependant on experience

Are you an experienced dispenser looking for a new opportunity to work in a small, friendly dispensary in our GP surgery?
You will need to be able to enjoy working with others supporting the dispensary team, work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for learning and a willingness to be trained on additional services for the needs of the business.

Candidates should have/be:

good communication skills (face to face and over the phone) good team player passion for delivering an excellent friendly service to our patients basic computer literacy skills are necessary, for example, to send emails containing attachments to surgeries and to learn how to use some necessary features of the dispensing software be reliable and above all willingness to train and provide excellent service when serving and communicating with customers.
Main duties:

serving customers, handing out prescriptions, taking payments processing repeat prescriptions dispensing medications dealing with enquiries regarding prescriptions and medication ordering and maintaining stock working according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Safer recruitment ; All applicants will be subject to a DBS check in line with our recruitment procedures.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 12.78-13.20 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
