Job Description
Accurately dispense medications to patients, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Provide medication administration support, ensuring that patients receive the correct dosages and instructions. Hand out prescriptions, ensuring correct prescription charges are collected where required. Assist in managing stock levels, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to medication dispensing. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and address any medication-related queries. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the dispensary area, to promote a safe working environment. Support with dispensary audits and regulatory compliance checks.
