An opportunity has arisen to join our team as a part time Dispenser, in our semi rural practice located just 10 miles from York and 12 miles from Harrogate.

Working hours are between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00.

The dispensary has a high profile within the practice giving a much valued contribution to patient care. Therefore you will play a key role in helping us to deliver and improve the quality of services to our patients. Key elements of the role are safe and accurate dispensing and supply of medicines for delivery, 48hr requests and monthly in-advance requests (including weekly medication trays for our blister pack patients), stock control and date checking, dealing with dispensary tasks, telephone queries and dispensary hatch requests.

The role requires accurate and secure data entry on PMR using SystmOne, so previous knowledge of these systems would be advantageous.

The individual we are looking for will be capable of working to high standards of accuracy and cleanliness, will be a good team player, and will be flexible and reliable. The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services, or equivalent, or willing to train to achieve the qualification.
