Measham Medical Unit is a friendly and supportive GP practice based on the outskirts of North West Leicestershire, providing services to patients in North West Leicestershire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Warwickshire.

Due to long term sickness, we have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Dispenser (NVQ level 2 or equivalent) to join our busy Dispensary Team on a part-time, temporary basis. We are looking for a Dispenser to work 20 hours per week to be worked Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00am and 6:30pm.

We currently dispense to around half of our patient population, both in the practice and also via our delivery service.

We're looking for a high-performing and pleasant team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, initiative, attention to detail, potential to improve, and pride in themselves and their excellent work.

As a dispenser as well as providing quick, accurate and efficient dispensing of medications you will also

gather medications check dispensed medications answer patient and clinician queries order and re-order stock collect NHS prescription charges hand out dispensed medications to patients work and liaise with our dispensing team
Experience in a Dispensary is essential as is NVQ level 2 in dispensing.
