Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable.

Duties

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Conduct medication administration under the supervision of qualified healthcare professionals. Provide exceptional patient care by addressing inquiries, offering guidance on medication usage, and ensuring patients understand their treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of all dispensed medications and assist in inventory management. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to optimise patient outcomes and ensure seamless service delivery. Uphold hygiene standards and maintain a clean working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with medication dispensing processes. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care practices is essential. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of working independently when required.
