Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Dispenser to join our small friendly team currently working on 0 - 3 days turnaround of processing prescriptions. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Accurately dispense medications according to prescriptions and ensure proper labelling. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medication. Collaborate with our pharmacists to maintain inventory levels and assist in medication administration. Conduct regular checks on medication stock, ensuring that all items are stored correctly and safely. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Following all dispensing procedures and patient care protocols.

Qualifications

Must have Dispensing qualification NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing OR Equivalent

Experience

Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is essential, particularly in roles involving patient care or medication administration. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment are essential skills for this role. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with patients and colleagues alike.
