We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispenser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications and providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of pharmacy practices and medication administration, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Provide patient care by answering queries regarding medications and their administration. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation Assist in the preparation of medication doses, including measuring, counting, and packaging. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organisational policies related to medication handling. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a pharmacy setting or as a pharmacy technician is essential. Strong knowledge of medication administration practices and patient care principles. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in healthcare. Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory.
