We are currently seeking a

Dispenser

to join our dynamic team. We would like to hear from those who consider themselves a team player and who like to take pride in their work.

A dispensing qualification is desirable however consideration will be given to candidates willing to complete the necessary training to obtain this qualification.

Duties

Accurately dispense medications to patients, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Provide medication administration support, ensuring that patients receive the correct dosages and instructions. Hand out prescriptions, ensuring correct prescription charges are collected where required. Assist in managing stock levels, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to medication dispensing. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and address any medication-related queries. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the dispensary area, to promote a safe working environment. Support with dispensary audits and regulatory compliance checks.

Requirements

Previous experience as a dispenser is desirable. Strong understanding of medication administration practices and patient care principles. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems such as DispenseIT is desirable.
