The successful applicant will be responsible for the processing of prescriptions in accordance with practice policy and extant legislation. In addition, the post-holder will be required to support the dispensary supervisor / Lead GP in ensuring a high-level of service is delivered at all times, whilst supporting the multi-disciplinary team in line with the strategic objectives of the practice. We are looking for a qualified dispenser(NVQ Level 2/3) for this post.

*This is a part time position working 22.5 hours over three days (07:30-15.30 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) Main duties of the job We are seeking a part-time, enthusiastic, and qualified Dispenser (NVQ Level 2/3) to join our friendly dispensary team. Our dispensary plays a key part in looking after our patients ensuring their medications are prepared safely, accurately and on time. Dispensing and checking medication in line with legal and practice standards
Helping patients with prescription queries and collecting charges
Processing repeats and keeping accurate electronic records
Supporting stock control, ordering, and rotation
Maintaining a safe, tidy dispensary and following SOPs
Working closely with GPs, nurses, and reception teams
