About the Role

Llanilar Health Centre is seeking a dedicated and professional

Dispenser/Receptionist

to join our friendly and supportive practice team. This full-time role combines dispensary duties with patient-facing reception work. We offer flexible hours, excellent staff benefits, and genuine opportunities to grow and develop within the practice.

Main ResponsibilitiesDispensary Duties

Preparing, labelling, and issuing prescriptions accurately

Ordering, receiving, and managing medication stock

Supporting patients with prescription queries

Ensuring dispensing compliance with NHS and practice standards

Reception Duties

Greeting patients and delivering high-quality customer service

Answering telephone calls and triaging queries

Booking and managing appointments

Maintaining accurate patient information and records

Assisting with general administration

Essential Requirements

Dispensing qualification NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (required)

Excellent accuracy and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask in a busy environment

A caring, patient-focused approach

Desirable Experience

Previous work in a GP practice or pharmacy

Understanding of NHS procedures and GDPR

Training & Career Development

Full reception training provided
