Qualified dispenser or ACT required to work full time hours at a pleasant independent community pharmacy located in Severn Road car park. Dispensing an average of 700 items per day, we need an ACT to help support our fantastic dispensary staff, check scripts and help to deliver clinical services. Pay will be dependent on experience and ability to check high levels of prescriptions.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional patient care by accurately dispensing medications and ensuring proper medication administration. Conduct thorough accuracy checks on prescriptions to prevent errors. Maintain inventory levels and assist in the management of pharmaceutical supplies. Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients on medication usage and potential side effects, fostering a supportive environment. Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and safety protocols within the pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a pharmacy technician Strong patient care skills Knowledge of medication administration protocols Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Certification as a pharmacy technician preferred

Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
