Batley Pharmacy is an Independent Pharmacy looking for a Full time dispenser to join our friendly pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self driven and engaged individual. PHARMACY DISPENSER

MUST BE NVQ 2 or NVQ 3 Qualified in Pharmacy Dispensing Services

Full Time Position - 34.5 Hours Per week

Salary negotiable on experience and qualifications

4 Weeks Holiday per Year + BH

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Label, dispense and endorse prescriptions in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure safe supply to patients in an efficient and accurate manner. Ensure the safe supply and appropriate storage of medicines. Ordering sufficient medication and stock in line with company procedures to meet customer demand and date/usage checking to maximise availability and minimise waste. Create and update patient medication records in accordance with data protection principles to ensure patient confidentiality. Assist where necessary with the preparation of monitored dosage systems to benefit patients on multiple medication regimes. Check endorsements and patient declarations on prescriptions and file correctly to ensure maximum payments are received with minimal losses. Process invoices and paperwork in a timely manner following company procedures. Undertake all necessary housekeeping duties so that dispensary areas are kept clean and tidy. Work as part of a team and actively demonstrate a willingness to support and achieve the overall business objectives.

The Pharmacy Assistant/Dispenser will have:

At least 12 months experience working in a community Pharmacy. An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent (e.g. Dispensary Assistants Course) Be able to work as part of a team and take your own initiative when required. The ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment. Attention to detail is a must. A can do attitude to assist where needed. Basic Microsoft Office/IT skills necessary. Training will be provided on internal software. A professional manner and good quality written and verbal English language skills.
Pay negotiable depending on experience.

Pay: 12.21-13.30 per hour

10 hour shift 8 hour shift Every weekend Monday to Friday Weekend availability
