Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispensing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the dispensing process, ensuring that customers receive their medications accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for providing excellent support in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a qualified professional. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of service. Utilise IT systems to manage inventory, process orders, and track medication supplies. Support leadership in training new staff members and contributing to a positive team atmosphere.

Experience

Previous experience in a customer service role is essential; experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. Familiarity with IT systems relevant to pharmacy operations is preferred. Demonstrated leadership qualities that contribute to team success and morale.
