Duties

Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescribed medications accurately and efficiently Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient queries and offering guidance on medication usage Maintain organised records of dispensed medications in compliance with regulatory standards Support stock management, including inventory checks and replenishment of supplies Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all visitors Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve patient experience Uphold confidentiality and data protection protocols at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in customer service roles, ideally within healthcare or retail environments Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain information clearly to patients Leadership qualities to assist in team coordination and support junior staff when necessary Good IT skills, including familiarity with pharmacy management systems and basic computer applications Organised with excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing medication Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting A recognised qualification or training related to pharmacy support is desirable but not essential Commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and patient care
