We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispensing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and efficient dispensing of medications and products while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical products under the supervision of a qualified professional. Provide excellent customer service by addressing queries and offering guidance on product selection. Maintain accurate records of dispensed items and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and effective workflow within the dispensing area. Utilise IT systems for inventory management, stock control, and reporting purposes. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients. Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and collaboration among colleagues. Proficiency in IT systems, including experience with pharmacy management software preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and effectively. Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
