Dispensing Assistant
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the dispensing of medications to patients
- Prepare medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventory
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication administration
- Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and safety standards
Experience:
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or dispensing assistant is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration and dosage calculations
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care
