Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispensing Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient dispensing of medications and products, while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of IT systems, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical products under the supervision of a qualified pharmacist. Provide excellent customer service by addressing queries, offering advice, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. Maintain accurate records of dispensed items and manage inventory levels effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the dispensing area. Utilise IT systems for processing prescriptions and managing stock levels efficiently. Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. Strong IT skills to navigate dispensing software and maintain accurate records. A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing medications. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
