We are currently seeking an experienced and friendly optical assistant to join our team in Mid Lothian. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and modern practice, with state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and assist with their initial eye tests
Help patients choose frames and lenses that suit their style and visual needs
Conduct frame adjustments and repairs
Process orders and payments for glasses and contact lenses
Maintain a clean and organized optical dispensary
Requirements:
Previous experience as an optical assistant
Knowledge of frame styles and lens options
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
