Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join a prestigious, well-established law firm based in Chichester, West Sussex. This is a full-time, permanent job within a modern and sociable law firm. Job Responsibilities

The successful Dispute Resolution Solicitor will join a friendly team in the Chichester office, working collaboratively with dedicated fee earners and support staff to provide a full spectrum of legal services. This is a key hire offering the opportunity to immediately manage your own caseload and make an impact from the outset.


The day-to-day duties within this job include:


Managing your own caseload across civil litigation, including Employment Law, Property and Boundary Disputes, Contractual and Consumer Disputes, Contested Probate and Professional Negligence Attending court hearings and managing client representation Liaising with barristers, experts, and third parties Taking a proactive approach to marketing, networking, and business development opportunities.

Person Specification

The successful Dispute Resolution Solicitor will be an ambitious and motivated individual. You must demonstrate both technical legal knowledge and a commercial outlook to manage your cases effectively. You will possess the following experience, skills, and attributes:


Solicitor or CILEX qualified with 3 years+ PQE in civil litigation and dispute resolution Proven experience managing your own caseload from start to finish Previous experience of working to and achieving billing targets Strong advocacy skills with the ability to attend hearings and represent clients Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships A proactive approach to business development and contributing to the firm's growth.
