Job Description

We are TDS. We were established in 2003 to operate tenancy deposit schemes across the UK and to provide dispute resolution services in relation to tenancy deposits. We now operate tenancy deposit schemes in England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland from our head office in Hemel Hempstead and our other offices in Glasgow and Belfast. In 2022 we also launched the New Homes Ombudsman Service. We are collaborative and forward-thinking with our colleagues and customers at the heart of everything we do.

We have a new opportunity within the Disputes Credit Control team to join them as a

Disputes Credit Controller.

This is a full-time, permanent position, that will be based at our TDS office in Hemel Hempstead. This position will follow our hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

Manage the collection of disputed deposits with minimal supervision. Ensure disputed amounts are recovered in line with internal KPIs. Process refund and payment requests from various sources. Support the Head of Compliance, Receivables & Office Management across all credit control functions. Work closely with internal departments and external service providers to resolve financial queries. Maintain regular contact with members via phone and email.

To be considered for this opportunity you must:

Have a basic understanding of the credit control function Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, including confidence in handling and manipulating data. Be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage professionally with individuals across various roles and sectors. Be able to handle a range of different tasks simultaneously and prioritise a heavy workload.
