Don and Low are looking for an experienced Distribution Administrator to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Coordinator, your role will be to assist with all aspects of the administration of the dispatch process.
Duties:
Process pick tickets from the sales
Confirm stock availability
Book transports and provide the carrier with information on the timing and quantity of pick-ups
Liaise with Sales as required and confirm details of despatch requirements
Update Sales on order exceptions
Prepare & verify all necessary despatch paperwork
Check price and quantity charges on carrier invoices
Confirm deliveries and check invoices for these orders
Assist with any other general administrative task as required
The ideal candidate:
Good general standard of education
Good communication skills (both written and oral)
Good organisational skills
Experience of computerised systems
Knowledge of despatch systems
Forklift certificate would be advantageous but not required
