Job Title: Distribution Assistant ManagerJob Summary

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Distribution Assistant Manager to join our dynamic Automotive team, reporting directly to the Distribution Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our warehouse and delivery network. This is a varied role that combines warehouse operations, team coordination, and practical vehicle knowledge to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the loading and unloading of car parts from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient handling at all times. Support and coordinate with drivers to ensure all daily deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment in line with company and H&S standards. Use the Warehouse Management System (CAM) to track stock, manage inventory movements, and update records. Conduct vehicle inspections, reporting any faults or safety issues promptly to management. Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure efficient processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments. Carry out manual handling and heavy lifting duties (up to 25 kg), following safe handling techniques to prevent injury.
Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment (automotive sector preferred). Basic vehicle knowledge with the ability to assist with basic maintenance and fault identification. Physically fit and able to perform consistent lifting and movement of goods. Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail. Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Pay: 29,000.00-33,000.00 per year
