Description

We are looking for a dependable and knowledgeable Distribution Coordinator to support our processing operations at Shap Blue Quarry. As our next Distribution Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for all entries to the site, providing excellent customer service both in person and by telephone, whilst placing the highest importance on our sustained standards of excellence in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental Management.

From liaising with our client base, Sales Managers, operational teams and haulage partners, coordinating the delivery of our products, each day is guaranteed to be different.###

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries Handle customer enquiries related to orders, product availability, pricing, and delivery timelines Maintain updated records of customer interactions, orders, and transactions Provide support for account management, including billing queries and documentation Communicate effectively with production and management teams regarding orders and outgoing products Relay customer feedback efficiently across relevant teams, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Monitor orders and distribution whilst building strong, professional relationships with regular customers Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies in all customer-related processes

Do you offer...?

Knowledge of the Construction & Transport industries (not essential) Experience in transport planning and can demonstrate knowledge of road haulage (not essential) A hard-working approach with a can do attitude Ability to manage competing deadlines & anticipate problems and potential solutions Effective communication & exceptional customer service skills Excellent attention to detail & good computer skills
