We are now seeking an experienced and dynamic

Distribution Manager

to oversee and develop our logistics and transport operations.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of all distribution activities -- ensuring our products are delivered on time, in full and to the highest standard of service.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the transport and warehouse teams to achieve operational excellence. Oversee daily planning and scheduling of deliveries across the UK. Ensure compliance with all transport and health & safety regulations. Drive improvements in delivery performance, route efficiency and cost control. Maintain strong relationships with internal departments and retail customers. Analyse logistics data and produce performance reports for senior management. Identify and implement process improvements to support business growth.

About You:

Proven experience in distribution, logistics, or transport management (ideally within manufacturing or furniture sectors). Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Good knowledge of transport legislation and health & safety practices.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday:

06:45 - 15:30

Friday:

06:45 - 14:05 Includes two 20-minute breaks each day
