Due to continued growth and a very busy future order book, EDS are seeking an experienced, passionate and skilled Diving Supervisor to join our team and lead our diving projects on site. The ideal candidate will be a qualified ADC Supervisor or working towards this (full support will be given towards achieving ADC qualification if needed).
Responsibilities
Assist with the planning of diving operations
Lead dive teams on site for safe and efficient completion of a variety of commercial diving projects all over the UK
Complete necessary project and daily records to assist with financial control and audit processes
Assist with maintenance of equipment
Input to the strategic development of the diving department and the improvement of systems and processes
Qualifications
ADC qualified Diving Supervisor is highly desirable
Completed log book to demonstrate over 200 commercial dives
HSE qualified diver with in-date medical preferred
First Aid at Work / DMT desirable (training can be provided if needed)
Experience of working with Sharepoint, Microsoft Office suite and Outlook
Full (clean) drivers licence required
This will be a predominantly site-based role involving travel all over the UK. The ideal candidate will preferrably be based near to our head quarters near Cardiff, although a remote-based role would be considered for the right applicant. A works vehicle, laptop and mobile phone allowance will be provided. There is significant opportunity for overtime which can be anywhere up to 30%+ on top of basic pay, with subsistence also paid per night away.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK, we are unable to support visa applications.
