Our newly created Health Supplements & Protein Manufacturing Division will be dedicated to delivering high-quality, science-backed nutritional products that support wellness and performance. With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, we aim to become a leading provider in the health and wellness industry. This division encompasses e-commerce, retail, and manufacturing operations, ensuring end-to-end excellence from product development to customer delivery.
Role Overview:
The Division Director will spearhead the strategic and operational leadership of the division, overseeing the development and execution of e-commerce and retail strategies, as well as the establishment and optimization of protein manufacturing capabilities. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in e-commerce, retail, and health supplement manufacturing to drive growth, innovation, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the division, aligning with the company's overall vision and objectives.
Develop and implement the introduction of a ground up health supplement product range
Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive growth in the health supplements and protein sectors.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
E-commerce & Retail Management:
Lead the development and execution of e-commerce strategies to enhance online presence, customer engagement, and sales performance.
Oversee retail operations, website presence and merchandising, and customer service excellence.
Collaborate with marketing teams to design and implement effective promotional campaigns across digital and physical channels.
Manufacturing & Product Development:
Establish and optimise protein manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Lead research and development initiatives to create innovative health supplement products that meet consumer needs.
Manage supply chain operations to ensure timely production and distribution of products.
Team Leadership & Development:
Build and lead a high-performing team across various functions, including marketing, operations, R&D, and sales.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.
Financial Oversight:
Develop and manage the division's budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
Analyse financial reports to identify areas for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Nutrition, or a related field; MBA preferred but not essential.
Proven experience a senior leadership role within the e-commerce, retail, or health supplement manufacturing sectors.
Strong understanding of protein manufacturing processes and health supplement product development.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing growth strategies in a competitive market.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyse complex data and make informed business decisions.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with digital marketing tools and e-commerce platforms.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the health supplement industry.
Strong network within the health and wellness industry.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
