Finance Division



We are looking for a Divisional Finance Officer to join our collaborative team supporting the University Administration and Services (UAS) and GLAM departments.

This position is only accepting applicants from internal candidates currently working at the University of Oxford





Location:

Great Clarendon Street, Oxford (Hybrid working)

Salary:

38,674 - 46,913 per annum

Contract:

Full Time, Permanent

About the Role



As Divisional Finance Officer, you'll work closely with senior managers to provide expert financial analysis, planning, and insight. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting for a portfolio of departments, supporting strategic decision-making and identifying opportunities for improvement.

You'll also manage discrete finance projects and contribute to continuous process improvement across the Division. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, challenge, and the opportunity to influence change at a high level.

About You



At an advanced stage of a financial qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA)

Experienced in a management accounting role in a complex organisation

A confident communicator who can explain financial concepts to non-specialists

Skilled in Excel and familiar with financial systems (experience with Oracle Financials is a plus)

Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
